Arne Berg is a world music expert and radio presenter & producer at NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation). He has recently made features from Istanbul, Athens, Berlin and naturally Norway, on migration and music, with particular focus on the war in Syria and the refugee situation in Europe. A special feature by him on Iraq/Syria and the role of music among Kurdish fighters against ISIS has won much acclaim. A regular delegate at WOMEX since 1997, he is part of the EBU World Music Worshop/World Music Charts panel. His station is also in charge of the WOMEX Radio Studio.
